RECOGNITION AWARDS

“I had just started my junior year in high school when my dad passed away from a cardiac arrest. It was 1983. We felt helpless and all we could do was use the traditional method of splashing water on his body trying to revive him. He was only 59 years of age.”
One of my nieces who was part of our training last week saved a new born baby at the NICU. She was the only one at this hospital who was cpr trained and as the receiving nurse started cpr right away when the baby was brought to the unit. I got chills all over my body.
